Yale up 8 in first half over Harvard. Makati Mason on Yale bench in street clothes. Will return next year. but no red shirt per Ivy rules... did not disenroll |

Princeton up 7 1:09 left in ot Princeton almost suffered from the new format. still may Was depressed to find the Princeton game on the ESPN radio station in Hartford today. |

Did anybody else notice the crowd shots of the Northwestern/Maryland game Friday night? Seems like each time they showed the Northwestern crowd, there was a guy with a HOLY CROSS sweatshirt on in the center of the picture!

Seems like each time they showed the Northwestern crowd, there was a guy with a HOLY CROSS sweatshirt on in the center of the picture! Wanted to support Northwestern but the only purple apparel he had was the HC sweatshirt? |

New Orleans made the dance.
8 or 9 years ago, they decided to go to Division 3...changed direction a year or two later. Nice to see the downtrodden rise on occasion.

A guy on UNO got in an argument with a teammate and started a fight with him (grabbed him by the neck)..the guy got benched for the rest of the game. Can't say that I've ever seen that before.

After their flirting with D3 a few years back, UNO was showing they have what it takes to be a "true" Division I team.  |

The guy who got benched was their high scorer/rebounder. He went after the point guard for not passing to him on the previous possession. |

The only interest i have in the NIT is the many mid majors who beat the big boys last night. And i do not care what the apologists say about the big guys not being motivated. If the coaches and players cannot get motivated, then it is on them.
Cal Bakersfield over Cal
Oakland over Clemson
Richmond beat Alabama
Boise State beat Utah
All on the big boys' courts
