URI, still without two key players, led for most of the game, but dropped a road game to a good Houston team, 82-77

Last weekend, Savannah State flew out to Oregon and lost to the Ducks by 69 points, 128-59. They presumably flew back home to Georgia to prepare for ANOTHER flight back up to Oregon a week later, this time against Oregon State. Today, they knocked off the Beavers 93-90 in OT.
Nice to see the often-jet-lagged HBCUs steal an upset as they are constantly shipped out for guarantee games in November and December.

Get dartmouth on the schedule And BC too! Lost to Hartford, not a good AE team by any means. Announced attendance of 2200...reports from people there said there were around 500 there.

Sh*t - BC beats Auburn 72-71. In the opener of the "Under Armour Reunion" at MSG bet you never knew there was a need for a reunion of sneakers. think the shoe companies have much influence in big time college hoops ?

Auburn isn't very good. Only real team they played, Purdue, they lost by 25. BC sucks.

It's D1 basketball not high school.

Seton Hall beat U. of South Carolina 67-64 last night. Carolina was without one of its better players who had been suspended by the coach as I understand. The game was played at MSG.

Exciting game. SC tied it with seconds left. SHU scored to take a 2 point lead and SC missed what would have been a winning FG as time ran out.

What to me is interesting about the ND -Purdue game in Indianapolis on now is all the empty seats for two top 21 teams playing their state. Very quiet. Snow ?

Kentucky over North Carolina in Las Vegas...103-100...NC's last shot with .5 seconds left stuck between the backboard and rim....Epic game! Monk from Kentucky, a Frosh had 47, including the game winning 3 with 16 seconds left.....

It's too bad...we went too far( imo) in holding onto to the belief that interscholastic atheletics at the highest level were evil.....Holy Cross lost a lot as a brand in becoming more of a NESCAC school than a Big East school which is where we are now.

How long can you still look back at what could have been? I applaud Holy Cross for putting academics above athletics. Holy Cross is playing at the D1 level with quality young men and women that are just as talented in sports as they are in the classroom. That should be embraced. If I were an alumni I would be proud. The Big East is not coming back. Why not let it go and enjoy what you have.

How can you enjoy a team with a losing record? We need to recruit better athletes.
