Daniya looks like she could be our "next Cara" only a bit taller.

I wonder how well she & Stella know each other as Bishop O'Connell knock off James Madison early in the season ending JM's 27 game win streak. I do note that JM after being a dominating team in VA the last 4 or so years had for them a tough season, finishing at 12-12.

Otherwise this is confusing. 12-12 with a 27 game winning streak

JM had had a length run the previous couple of seasons but it may be vs O'Connell.

Now this looks like a terrific commitment ! 6'4" center from the Jersey Shore (incanny how so many PL players come from Shore towns) And she was just named to the Irish National Team - gotta think Bronagh assisted on this one when she visited Congrats to coach MM and staff

I believe Teevan was a member of the U18 Irish National team this year, much like BPC was. Nice get for MM & I suspect a lot of work by Ass't Coach Green. Needs some beef on that frame, but she sounds like a hardworker. Will be an AAU teammate of UCONN commit & Irish Senior team menber Gandy Malou and fellow under U18 team member Sidney Quinn a Navy commit

Time to start making these Irish excursions yearly then!

I have seen some glowing (and at times too positive) reviews of high school players and their future "up side." I have never seen one that spoke about weekly and daily improvement from an athlete who is said to be supremely coachable, making her future predictions virtually impossible. Sounds like a great addition to our Crusaders!

If we’re looking at 13 scholly players for 25-26, that leaves three more openings for this class. (assuming to portal additions for 24-25)

Don’t know what to say as the open ok for me Have them now A 6’4” who scores in the post and at the 3- very impressive Highlight reel- even though the competition was shorter and not strong, she showed fine skills: Shooting form was solid with text book follow through. Pretty good quick release Runs the court, good hands on the catch. Finishes with either hand. Keeps rebounds high, away from defenders. The skills are there. Obviously needs weight for D1 play.

She definitely needs to add some muscle & weight if she is looking to play as a frosh. But, she seems to have a really good upside. It would be nice if they add another big to the class of '24 to take some of the pressure off.

WBB, Men's Hockey, WLax, FB all figured out the Holy Cross puzzle and had winning seasons this year. Let's build from there. The Irish connection is working out well. One thing BPC had was an extra year of skill building and physical maturity in the NEPSCAC. But can't expect that from a blue chipper who has many options right out of HS. This recruit looks great. Congratulations to the coaching staff.

I'm not sure we can take the claim seriously that she had 'offers' from Big East and Big Ten schools - sometimes people in a player's camp will confuse 'interest' with 'offers'. In any case I like this commitment very much especially when you see the size that the other PL schools are bringing in with the class of '27. We will need size going forward.

I think this young lady has made a wise decision no matter how authentic her options were. The PL can be forgiving of players who aren't optimal in all areas. With good coaching their strong skills can shine in the league. BPC does not have the speed or athleticism desired by power conference teams yet she led a Renaissance in HC WBB because the skills she does have were very effective in the PL. Having said that, watch BPC go to a power conference like Avery did. Any word on what our seniors are considering for next year?

I guess Bronagh does have what a power conference is looking for, just like Avery did. Unlike Wisconsin when Avery joined, Villanova has a winning team. Although they lost a close one 50-48 to Marquette in the Big East Tournament first round, they made it to the championship game of the WBIT, playing five post season games against three P-6 teams and two A-10 teams. Bronagh brings experience in two post season games to join the Nova returnees with five. The Wildcats will be a good team to follow next year with a chance to do quite well. I wonder if Bronagh will start like Avery or be a solid rotation contributor and veteran leader like RJ Evans was during his season at UConn?
