As some know, I talked to Ryan Schmidt when I mistakenly thought he was still at HC as he had given me his cell phone number. He informed me he was back down to UAB and while the title was a lateral title, he said he had 6 people reporting to him to do the ticketing and at HC he was doing it solo.
His replacement comes by way of PC but she had no connection to HC and went to school down south. One of her bosses at PC told her about the HC opening. She was obviously very green and learning her job when I spoke with her. She's earnest though.

Selling ads on the video board to national accounts is a good function for a national firm who can bundle HC's video boards with a hundred other ones. But selling tickets to HC home games? We only charge for about five football games, thirty or so M&W basketball games, and 17 Men's hockey games and Polar Park handles their own ticket sales.
Can't an existing staff person handle that as a part of a portfolio in the Athletic Department? How many of the 75,000 or so admissions (estimated 40,000 FB, 30,000 M&W basketball. 5,000 MH) per year has to go to pay Peak for the convenience of having them handle it?
