Watching the History Channel presentation on Theodore Roosevelt. Professor Edward O’Donnell of Holy Cross is featured prominently, and has been shown several times during just the first hour of the program.

I wish I could have watched this--hopefully will be replayed many times--as I saw the promotions for it many dozens of times. I hope I won't get into trouble re: politics by saying I think TR was a remarkable man. I like what one participant (historian Meacham I think) said "he got up every day saying 'bring it on'".

I scrolled by this tonight having given up on the Sox early. I can’t wait to watch it. TR is among the most fascinating people in American history.

TR was definitely a very energetic go-getter and our youngest president.

I have always seen TR and his "Square Deal" as the high water mark for our presidency. Interesting that Lincoln was TS's favorite president. The picture of his looking from his home on the casket of Lincoln moving by below was one I had not seen before - great link between the two men.
