Brad Blattner is latest verbal commit.
6’7/295 OL. From Shrewsbury MA. I saw him play in person. Large fella who’s athletic. Only been playing football for 2 years.
It wouldn’t shock me tomorrow if one of the other 6 OL doesn’t sign with this commit.
He had 4 other offers. 1 being UNH

/\ UNH coach Rick Santos remarked in a pre-playoff game interview news conference that he’s been losing recruits to HC. I thought that was an oddly honest comment from him.

His twitter also lists offers from Bryant, Marist and Merrimack as well as a 4,04 h.s. GPA - Surprised he did not appear to receive interest from the IVY

Harry, thanks. Do you think BB is the same guy that Coach James was signalling about over the weekend? I hope we don't lose one of our verbals. Who am I missing, Beesley and Nunnally both tackles from Texas, Sean Woods of Bergen Catholic and Will Janis from Brunswick guards or center with Janis. Gay from Delbarton in NJ, a later verbal. Who am I missing as the 6th OL or do we count Petitta as TE? I'd certainly hate to lose either of big Texas tackles, they were both key players on very good teams.

Thomas Biel is the other OL. HCNJ - yes I do believe this was Scott James' signal. I'm not sure if there is an OL who will not sign. Just spitballing as to why they would need a 7th OL.

Thanks for the reminder on Thomas Biel, another very good player from a strong program. I'd hate to lose any one of the verbals.
I did see BB had an offer from Rochester and lots of junior day tire kicking from the Ivies. Another very strong academic recruit.

Thomas Biel is commit #8 OL from Ohio; He had 10 other offers - IVY, PL and Towson 4th OL commit. 7 of first 8 are Offense Biel was the #8 verbal commit of the class. We shall know in the next 18-24 hours. |

It’s crazy to look back now on DHarry’s first Focus list of 23’ prospects. To quote Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny “dead on balls accurate”.
Should be a good day tomorrow if at least 22 sign, potentially 23 or even 24 by end of the week (offcial signing lasts thru Friday)
