ADNP and CTG take full responsibility for this disappointing season....

I checked my email. No email. Was this sent to members of the Gridiron Club? Nothing on the Gridiron Club Facebook page.

Tom: Thanks, for posting; my efforts were futile! Tried a few things but nothing worked! You'll have to share with me your "trade secrets"!

Tom, thanks for attaching the letter. Do you have any notion of who the distribution was to?

Yes, came out fine, Tom, when you click on it. 45, sorry, I thought you meant an e-mail was sent out not a snail mail. I am sure I will get my copy soon. And now, we resume our second guessing and general distress at this decision.

That does it for me. How anyone can possibly say that the future looks bright after yet another awful season capped by that shellacking at Yankee Stadium last Saturday is beyond me.

I received the letter by e-mail at about 8:45a.. I assume by dint of previous support for Crusader Athletics Fund?
In either event, very disappointing decision by HC. CTG is not a good "in game" coach. It is time for a change at the helm.

Ok. I thought the distribution might be to season ticketholders, as there seems not to have been a distribution to donors to the Athletics Fund, and/or individual teams.

I got it, assume as a Athletic Fund donor.

I got it as well. Format tough to cut and paste. Sorry. I guess the decision to replace the coach was not quite as "unanimous" as some thought.

I support this decision.
Without knowing the full scope of candidates who would apply for the job, I would guess that TG would at least be on the top tier. Despite the last few years, he is a good football coach, and brought this program back from the dead when he arrived. We were well behind the top of the league in terms of institutional support for years, and we are just now (hopefully) correcting that. It's going to take time to re-build the program, but I trust TG to know what that takes (and put in the work) more than I do if we went out and just hired some 1-AA coordinator without any experience running a program, or a D2 head coach who doesn't know what he's getting into recruiting academic kids at our level.
That being said, I am expecting serious improvements next year.

They played the majority of the season with the fourth string QB. They played the majority of the season with the fourth string, freshman RB. They played the majority of the season without a starting DB who was picked all-PL preseason.
I know injuries are part of the game and you have to deal with them. You are not going to win consistently with a QB that far down the depth chart, not in that offense.
