Per the Transactions page of the NFCA website -
Arcadia (July 8 / DIII) - Named Holy Cross (DI) assistant Lindsay Mayer head coach.
While I wish her good luck at Arcadia, it concerns me to see her jump from a full-time DI assistant to a DIII head coaching gig after one season.

WPI ended Arcadia's season last year in the Regionals.

Looking at her bio, it appears she has been a D1 assistant at various places for a while. Now, she gets to be the head coach. We have heard that HC underpays assistants so I would think a D3 head job would pay comparably. Best of luck to Coach Mayer. goholycross.com/sports/softball/roster/coaches/lindsay-mayer/1179

Not the kind of job (either one) someone typically stays in all that long.

Not the kind of job (either one) someone typically stays in all that long. Some D3 jobs in the NESCAC especially are better than D-1 gigs
