As is common for most bigs So coaches don’t matter? I don’t think Matt Faw, on his own, decided to completely change his style of play his senior year. His stats got worse at NJIT. Why didn’t he keep improving if that is what happens with most bigs?

Stats are great indicators but aren't the whole story-- professional contracts, however, are about the numbers that matter to people who pay for talent-some think of it as a real indication of value and impact 🥇✝️🍀
If we are calling balls and strikes give the young man credit for his loyalty to the school, commitment to the program, his work ethic, and surviving a difficult environment. In fact, he and Butler gave way more to the staff then they received in return and never complained-- and yes the coaches helped but I give more credit to Faw for his success
