From a photo very recently taken of the campus from some distance away. I have magnified and cropped the image. Between the Prior Center for the Performing Arts and the Luth Complex, there appears to be the side of a new building or a new wall being constructed on the upper campus parking lots. This new structure is blue/green and has three white columns. In the photo, it appears to the left of the PCPA, and to the south of it. Anyone have a clue?

We all normally defer to you on construction matters on the campus.

Because the perspective is compressed, it is quite possible this structure is nearer the rink and the road leading up from City View to along the west side of the rink and then to the playing fields. This particular parking lot, to the immediate north of the rink, was not resurfaced, whereas all the others between Luth and Hogan are either new or resurfaced.

Just a guess, but they certainly resemble solar panels, possibly on the roof of Lehy?
But on second thought, they are facing North, so that may rule that out.

No clue but this photo illustrates the urbanization of the campus.

Nope. I don't think so. The photo shows the cross on the north side of Luth. West of the cross, Luth (field house portion) ends near the single tree and the light pole at one of the playing fields. Blaney (and the Hart roof) start just to the right of the single tree and end about where there is a small white dot reflection. The mystery structure appears to be perpendicular to Blaney and south of Prior. The photo itself seems to have been taken from near Providence and Winthrop streets, Oak Hill / Union Hill area.

I agree with my friend, Crucis. I looked on googleearth both 3D and 2D. Although the Blaney Gym section is essentially a straight line from where the workout/weight section and front of the indoor practice field, there is a jog or offset and I believe Phreek's picture is an optical illusion. The 3 "white columns" match exactly to be the narrow window panels with the 4th one blocked by the PPAC east side. Looking at Crucis' picture, you can see that also appears to be the Blaney Gym section at an angle. Not going to try to add the googleearth picture, but here's a link: earth.google.com/web/search/1+College+Street,+Worcester,+MA/@42.23533103,-71.80434623,204.73138827a,1286.01132553d,35y,109.15978828h,0t,0r/data=CooBGmASWgolMHg4OWU0MDVjYzdiYmYyYTM5OjB4NDM1NjEwOTk4MjA0NGY0YhnTzQ9tER5FQCHEeqNWmPNRwCofMSBDb2xsZWdlIFN0cmVldCwgV29yY2VzdGVyLCBNQRgCIAEiJgokCVIFgOzcXURAEZbR4V0pXURAGbmwGdxpUVLAIe4DVADjUVLA

πCan hardly wait since I lost out on the MegaMillions billion dollar jackpot and all those things I was going to do with it. They might have had to rename the entire campus after me.π

Okay, co-shares. ---------------- The optical illusion looks similar to parallax, but it is not parallax because the camera position did not move. Actually, if one looks at the second Google Earth image, the mystery structure looks more like the bottom part of the Luth field house. Not my camera, so not my photo. If the camera was not on a tripod, perhaps the smallest of a jiggle created the distortion, given the significant distance between camera and campus. fstoppers.com/education/beginners-guide-parallax-and-how-avoid-it-when-shooting-panoramas-485141
