News is out that the FBS playoffs will expand to 12 teams by 2026 at the latest. Top 4 seeds get a bye and the rest play the first round at campus sites.

Home games at Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Penn State, BC (had to throw them in there, LOL) in and around Christmas aren't going to go over well. None of those places are set up to handle essentially a winter football game.

Home games at Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Penn State, BC (had to throw them in there, LOL) in and around Christmas aren't going to go over well. None of those places are set up to handle essentially a winter football game. What? Football is played outside in many cold weather cities every December.
