Going to be 25 years old in a few weeks. Perhaps OSU was going to have to give him a pension if he played.

Unfortunate end to what had been a promising career by a seemingly fine man.

I remember watching the game he got hurt in (Ivy league tourney his sophomore year). Up until that point he looked to be on track to multiple POYs in the IL. A real shame.

Notwithstanding, I am not in his shoes, this young would have been better served if he stayed at Harvard and graduated. Even if he wrecked his knee he could have earned a Harvard degree. Priceless. IMHO his is a cautionary tale for future portal candidates. Stay at HC. Benefit from the unique HC experience. And, graduate from one of the prestige colleges in America. It's a no-brainer. Nonetheless I do understand some might totally disagree.

Get your degree.

As a Harvard grad you would expect that the "in vein" in his post would be spelled correctly ("in vain").
Expecting too much?

Expecting too much of Harvard, no. Expecting too much of a touchscreen keyboard, yes.

Expecting too much of Harvard, no. Expecting too much of a touchscreen keyboard, yes. My bet is that this post went through several drafts and the misspelling was not the result of a typo.
Of course, we'll never know.
