Bob F mentioned on the women's broadcast that Fr. K. has been ill. No details but let's all remember him in our prayers this Thanksgiving.

Sadly the news on Fr K is not good. He is in hospice care at Weston. A great man and true Crusader.

Bill Gibbons mentioned Fr. K's illness at the Coaches Night. He has been in my prayers since then.
While you are all in a prayerful mood, please also pray for the repose of my mother's soul as she passed away about 2 hours ago. So, tomorrow, I will be thankful for the 94 years she made the world a little bit better place.
Thanks.

Thank you all. Fr. K is a special fixture at Holy Cross and so happy they named the field for him while he was still well.

Tom, our prayers are also with you and your family this day that we give thanks for the blessings that we as members of the extended Holy Cross family have received.
My wife and I was enjoyed dinner with Father K at the Homecoming Alumni Event. It is indeed sad news.

Thanks, Sader, and now let's all pray for Fr. K. While he's a good man and probably doesn't actually need our prayers, I am sure that he can bank them and pass them on to someone who needs them more.
We miss you and your posts, Fr. K.

Of all the posts you've made over the years, I hope and pray you're "wrongah" about this one than any other. Sadly, I lost my father to that specific form of cancer....it's one of those ailments that's often not diagnosed until it's too late...and, if he's in hospice care, not terribly surprising.

Ed O'Donnell posted this on a HC facebook page today:
Friends – I write with a very heavy heart. Fr. Anthony Kuzniewski, SJ, a dear friend to so many of us in our years at Holy Cross, has been diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer. This has all developed very rapidly over the last six weeks. Two weeks ago Fr. K. stopped teaching his classes and moved to hospice care at the Campion Health Center, Weston MA. I saw him the day before Thanksgiving and he was in good spirits. He’s also very much at peace with his situation. As Fr. K. wrote in his Christmas card for this year, “I look forward to encountering the life of the world to come with a strong sense of Jesus leading me, as he ever has, on a journey to our Father.” I am sure he would love to hear from you all, either through email or a card. If you are so moved, I'd recommend acting soon. Here’s his contact info: Campion Health Center 319 Concord Rd Weston, MA 02493 Email: akuzniew@holycross.edu

Sader 70 and all saders. I knew Fr. K briefly and can attest to his kindness and good sense of humor. My prayers for your Mother's soul and the soul of all who pass as Fr. K put it, into the arms of our Father. Peace

Sent my e-mail last night. Told Fr. K. about my recent experience with hospice -- my wife spent the last two months of her life in hospice in a comfortable and caring atmosphere.
