I live in CT and have yet to hear anyone discuss UConn football this season.

Quite the turnaround for UCONN football, now bowl eligible after beating a ranked Liberty team

There ya go! UConn bowl bound (Fenway?); BC goin' nowhere! 1000% that's where they'll end up. Good for the Huskies. Tie in wise, is there any chance of a "lost to Holy Cross" bowl game between UCONN and Buffalo.

Quite the turnaround for UCONN football, now bowl eligible after beating a ranked Liberty team I didn't think it was possible. Kudos to Jim Mora. It doesn't make Randy Edsall look too good.

Definitely an amazing job by Mora. Was not convinced he could do it but he has very quickly made UConn at least a half-decent FBS team after being a total laughingstock just a year ago.

There was a girl in the Bryant stands with a "similar" sign. Her sign read " HOLY LOSS"...you can see her in the stands when they replay the oob hit that led to the big "disturbance."

There ya go! UConn bowl bound (Fenway?); BC goin' nowhere! BC did beat nationally ranked NC State yesterday. The Fenway bowl tiein are supposed to be ACC vs AAC Syracuse is also dropping like a stone but clinched bowl eligibility with their 6-0 start. They could end up at Fenway. Navy is officially not bowl eligible after their comeback fell short to ND so they don't be a candidate to fill this bowl slot. Syracuse-UCONN at Fenway would be best fit to sell seats -- 'Cuse could also end up at the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium. Not sure what the process is for independents getting bowl invites over conferences that are tied in. But IMO this Fenway bowl game would be smart to try to find a way to get the Huskies there. As far as other indies are concerned, I think Notre Dame is attached to the ACC as far as bowl tie-ins. And Army has a deal with one of the Armed Forces Bowl in Texas where they're the de facto invitee if eligible, but I believe they have the option to accept an invite to a better bowl game if opportunity arises.

AAC team would be SMU, Houston or East Carolina; all 6-4....then there is 8-2 Cincinnati, UCF and Tulane.
The first two years of the Fenway game, which got cancelled, the event was scheduled between Christmas and New Year's.
This year it's on the 17th, which most likely can be attributed to Fenway being converted for the NHL Winter Classic on or about New Year's Day.
They'd love to get UConn; not a lot of traveling done the weekend before Christmas.

It will be like getting a bone away from a dog to get them to graciously give up their annual HC game so it can go to larger Fitton.

Doubt there are many other bowls out there that will be scrambling to ditch their conference tie-ins to bring in indy UCONN. So chances are if Fenway wants them, they've got 'em. I think UCONN @ Fenway would work out great for all involved. Be interesting to see if 'Cuse ends up being the other team. Could see the Orange heading to the Bronx as well.

A&M fans were so outraged that the Aggies were only ahead 10-3 at the half most of them left the stands for the second half.
Final was 20-3; but there's something like 90 million reasons Jimbo Fisher will be at the helm again in 2023.

UMASS gets Army at home to close out the regular season.
Last chance for an FBS win for the Minetmen. Will the game outdraw Holy Cross-Fordham (part I)?

Attendance- 10,119.
Army won, 44-7. They gave up an early touchdown and dominated thereafter; 4 UMass turnovers didn't help.
Umass wouldn't have made the FCS playoffs if they were still in the CAA; no way are they better than the teams that qualified from that league.

UMass would win somewhere between 2 and 4 games in the CAA this year depending on how their league schedule shaped up.
