HC has offered ‘24 Luka Toews, a 5’10” point guard from the Newman School and before that, NMH. Looks like he is from Japan according to Verbal Commits.

It says this 2023 @middlesexmagic & newman_Hoops guard Luka Toews earned a D1 offer from Holy Cross.

Well, it appears that they got his name right at least.

I give the staff credit for identifying a good prospect early.

Harvard got a commitment recently from a Top 100 recruit, #97 to be exact, in the class of ‘24.

Regardless of position, I like that he led his MM team in rebounds and blocks

Happy is a Central Mass kid, Wachusett Regional HS in Holden, who was a Telegram and Gazette All-Star in '21. He is from Sterling, MA.

I know Batch played for the Magic and isn't Nugent a member of the Magic as well.

I know Batch played for the Magic and isn't Nugent a member of the Magic as well. I think HCBN, if he survives, might be wise to focus on more local kids. They may be more loyal and thus be more open to the culture he is trying to build. Kids talk; and the fact that Happy is showing interest is encouraging. BTW, if HC makes the quarters, BN will be around for another year. Considering what he had with transfers and injuries, a run in the tourney will buy him another year, imo. One and done, I don’t think so.
