Mid major? Those days are over, this league is bottom of the barrel for D1.

Mid-major is a polite term. You rarely hear the more accurate low-major description, but mathematically there has to be low-major teams. Better that than being called a "Minor" team.

Describing anything as low isn't pc. My friend told me jv has been replaced by novice in his area. My insurance company now calls the senior citizen discount a mature citizen discount. I suppose I could have pointed out there are immature senior citizens as well as mature teenagers but why go down the rabbit hole.

Coming originally from track and field, the term "novice" has been in use for decades now. If it is being applied to former junior varsity teams what's the harm? As to fellow "seniors" I always had a preference to Rush Limbaugh's use of "seasoned citizens."

One will be hard pressed to find a more thorough (at least for free) preview of the PL. Thanks for posting, Mapp.
I still think there is not a lot of talent separation between 2 and 10; no excuse to not compete for a top spot.

Tom, I would expect your insurer is putting a hefty surcharge on your policy.

Tom, I would expect your insurer is putting a hefty surcharge on your policy. Could be worse. I work with a guy who just missed a week of work because of a skateboarding injury. At the age of 40

Tom, that's because "40 is the new 14!"
