I didn't go last year, where people actually turned away or did they just keep letting in "standing room only tickets" etc?
Just curious if I should get ducats in advance...not 100% sure I'm going. Thanks in advance.

What could take precedence/preference over a Crusaders football game? In all honesty....not a huge fan of football games at baseball venues....be it Polar Pahhk, Yankee or Fenway. I much prefer being on campus and watching a game at Fitton. That being said, some friends are thinking of coming up from NY and are trying to decide what game to go to, Bucknell at Polar or Harvard in Allston. Just curious what the ticket situation was at PP.

Harvard should be strongly preferred if they care about the actual football. The Polar Park game is in a baseball stadium and should not be competitive.

Thanks in advance. I'm not sure, but I bought 5 tickets last week and it seemed like the offerings were limited.

Thanks in advance. I went up to ticket gate last year probably 10 min before kickoff to be told they were sold out. Scalped tickets from someone walking in which worked out great.

Nice to hear it was an actual sell out.

Last year the game was a sell out. It was also parent’s weekend, which helped. I thought it was a great atmosphere.
This only downside was there was really no where to tailgate.
This year it’s during the beginning of Fall break, so can’t imagine a high student turnout. No idea what percentage of students live in the area.
I know the team has been trying to reach out to the Worcester community in hopes of them coming out.
It was as nice to see a game under the lights. It had been 3 years at the time (2018 at Harvard).

Any suggestions for good places to park? Irish Club, across from St. John’s Church on Temple Street. Parking is $15. Easy walk to the game.

For what it's worth, if you look at the HC website, they are still really pushing this game. Not sure they would do that if it were approaching a sell out

On the baseball field at Homecoming, Tom and I encountered two very nice WooSawx employees handing out fliers trying to drum up interest in the game. Also suggests demand is materially lower than last year.

Was last year's game at Polar Park also Family Weekend? I am sure that plus some parents from Colgate accounted for a good chunk of ticket sales? I may be mistaken but I feel like the last Bucknell game I attended I could count the number of Bucknell fans on one thumb.

It’s not a good matchup for that event. If, however HC remains undefeated, additional interest is likely.

Probably more because of weak opponent and campus being empty as it’s the start of a weeklong break.

Savvy and legendarily cheap Worcester folks will find a way to park for free. Remember that one of the reasons Worcester Center folded was their .99 parking fee.
