Pretty good day for HC Athletics, 1st time ever beating Harvard and Yale in the same season in Football. While an exhibition, hosting BC and beating them in front of a full house. Let’s Go Cross!

Maybe there is a reason to expand the rink…..
Hope tonight provides a vision to the future…..

Wish I could have driven out after the football game. Proud of one of my former JV hockey players tending the net for the BC tonight. Very proud of the effort Riga got out of this team and a great chance to see all of our players (I think) in action. Wish this counted!

Good for them winning an exhibition game over a program that finished in eighth place last year in Hockey East and hasn't won an NCAA tournament game since 2016.

Nothing HC does well gets a positive response from you occasionally, you point out facts that speak the truth and remind all we still have a way to go. But 99% is put out there just to attack the school and the fans. you make an important contribution to the players and fans with your work, but you come off as an incredibly unhappy person. I will make sure to pray for you at mass so God gives you the strength to find happiness and joy in what you do and his blessings provide you with a more positive view of life and you can share in the joy and happiness of others.

It was more of a shot at the BC program as they get too much love. It is the same thing when UNH plays anyone in hockey. Oh UNH is in town they are usually good even though they have not been relevant for nearly ten seasons.

So taking pictures at these colleges and universities, the positivity of collegiate athletics doesn't rub off on you at least a little bit?
Not sure what the definition of someone who dislikes (hates?) so many schools is but the equivalent to a misanthrope.
[We must love you here, Foley, to care enough to try to help you get over this funk you've been in for years. Might be my usual defective memory but thought when you first joined Crossports you had a much more positive attitude toward Holy Cross, life and almost everything.]

Good to have Foley here to keep us all grounded.
We definitely shouldn’t be a little excited and happy about our program, which has been one of the worst in Division 1 the past several seasons, beating a traditionally strong program in an exhibition.
Pipe down in the back.

Tough shoot at the Moose Lodge meat raffle in Clinton yesterday Foles?

Outstanding. Full house. Not surprised. I am. I don't think it was hyped all that much. Maybe more people are checking out the athletic web page than I thought.

BU hammered Bentley 8-2. BU and BC have both been rebuilding but new BU coach Jay Pandolfo gets his first win as hc. Makes me a touch optimistic about our season. I think we are far closer to the middle of the pack in AHA than last place (even with Bentley's new hockey facility). No way we finish last or second to last. I think we are 5-8 (probably closer to 8 but hey, glass half full!)

Good to have Foley here to keep us all grounded. Yep, and good to fall down and get hurt often to remind us how important good health is

They must (correctly) think being able to walk across campus and attend D-1 sporting events for free is the cat's meow/bee's knees, whichever you prefer. Perhaps a few will stick around for Polar Park.

I don't especially follow HC hockey but whether a "real" game or just exhibition and regardless of the sport, I'm old enough and have inherited enough purple blood through generations that a win over BC in anything is a good thing. Congrats to our hockey team.

Looking forward to our trip to Grand Forks next weekend to face ND. The Fighting Hawks (although I am sure there will be many Sioux jerseys in the arena) were picked to finish 2nd in the NCHC and were reg. season co-champions last season with the eventual National Champs Denver Pioneers. We will need all the positive vibes, prayers, and momentum!
