Hopefully they give the assembled masses more than the usual coach-speak.

Hopefully they give the assembled masses more than the usual coach-speak. Probably not. It’s what almost all coaches do in a public forum. Queue Bill Belichik.

I anticipate normal coach speak. That being said, we don't know for sure because this event hasn't happened in his tenure.

Not really I just want to ask fair questions that will help me understand the program
By some accounts he is a tireless worker and it would be great to hear from him

I believe Kit told Tom when he asked if they would be doing this when we were at the football coaches night at Volturno’s and Kit said they were trying to set something up.
There was a 75 person limit for football vs. 50 for basketball and the price is less which seems to reflect the relative interest in the two sports.
I will be curious what kind of turn out they’ll get but suspect there will be no threat to exceeding the 50 person limit.

I will be curious what kind of turn out they’ll get but suspect there will be no threat to exceeding the 50 person limit. The price and capacity have nothing to do with perceived relative interest in the two sports. The Worcester Club was very unhappy about Volturno's price tag and also the cost of admission for the attendees. District is a smaller room which is why capacity is less. The fee is less because District costs less than Volturnos

Went to Volturno this past weekend for the first time. Was a little disappointed in the pizza given how highly many speak of it.

Try the Wonder Bar, across the street, which was a haven for HC students back in the day. My grandfather opened it in 1922 and it was still in the family until a few years ago (my Dad and his sisters ran it for 30+ years). First place in Worcester County to sell pizza and the new owners reportedly use the same recipe. And there is a Wonder Bar concession at Polar Park!

When I went to the first night game at Fitton I was meeting several classmates from 1975 whom I had not seen for many years. The guy I was driving with was a Worcester native and he insisted that we get some Wonder Bar pizzas to tailgate with in the parking garage before the game. I was concerned about missing the kickoff but it took little time to get the pies. The pizzas were outstanding and we made the game on time.

OK, now I will not enjoy watching the game on ESPN as much because I want a Wonder Bar pizza! Thanks a bunch. It is nice to know there is at least one good spot in New England for pizza where too much of it is a bit like tomato soup and cheese on a flat loaf of bread. I do prefer thin crust NYC (Brooklyn) pizza from a coal fired oven (at time with sweet Italian sausage cut into slices, not crumbled).

You will save a bundle if you buy from the Shrewsbury St. location rather than PP which has Fenway prices.

All I want to know is if NAD is going and will have his usual good questions that are either ignored by past coaches or sarcastic answers. I honestly don't recall him ever getting an actual straight answer from any of Nelson's predecessors. But, then again, might just be my poor memory.
So, very quick, informal poll:
Brett Nelson's answers to legitimate questions by fans tonight will be:
1. Answered honestly and forthrightly - a refreshing change 2. A lot of talk around the subject but not answered 3. Sarcastic response implying the questioner doesn't know what he/she is talking about 4. Other (specify)
