Celebrating the intercession of the Blessed Mother engaging in a military conflict might be offensive to some Christians, too. She is the Mother of the Prince of Peace. And, peace to all.

There is still such a thing as a “just war.”
I believe an instant case is what Ukraine is fighting right now.

I'm still trying to find a sermon by Jesus on a "just war." Not serious,I was merely tweaking you. But, still I think some would posit that Mother Mary, would never get involved in battle or take sides in a war. If so, as many have asked where was God during the Holocaust, WWI & II, Ukraine and so on? IMO invoking the Mother of Jesus in the Battle of Levanto was probably PR to foster & increase Catholic(not Muslim) religious devotion. God is on our side. To me it echoes the superstitions & myths prevalent at that time. However, today, we all know God is a fan of HC Crusaders, football only. GoCrossGo. Peace.
