Brussels Development LLC of Palm Beach Gardens, FL currently owns the property. It was previously owned by Arthur and Ruth Herring who until their recent deaths lived in Palm Beach Gardens. They had previously lived in Worcester and founded and previously managed Modern Manufacturing which still operates in the complex at the address of 12 Brussels Street. I would therefore think Brussels Development LLC is connected to the Herring family estate given the history, names, and FL addresses.

foley, thank you for the link. Rotman is liquidating the furniture business. He is not selling the property. He is retaining an executive position and ownership interest in a publicly traded corporation, with several subsidiaries. See: www.vystarcorp.com/about-us/And yes, Vystar makes condoms. But not Crusader Condoms. (But Rotman is big into sports.) Rotman told Spectrum he hopes to lease the furniture-business side of the property to small businesses. He is a big collector of sports memorabilia.

The assessor's owner of record also gives a Brussels Development address of Bedford NY, which links to Spiro International. www.spiro.ch/Rodman's company, Vystar, has this product line: ----------------------edited to add After further study, the Spiro International Group Ltd. of Bedford NY probably is not associated with Spiro International, SA. The owner address for Brussels Development is Bedford NY, with two businesses at that Bedford NY address, one of which is Spiro International Group Ltd.

Rotmans' joins the history list of former Worcester area businesses - Spag's, The Fair, White's, Denholm's, Al Bum's, House of Doherty, Ziff-Paperworld, Shack's, Northwork's, El Morocco, Worcester Center Galleria, Greendale Mall, Higgin's Armory Museum, Weintraub's Deli, Iandoli's, Argento's Market, Widoff's Bakery, Thomm McCann's (HQ), Jolly Giant, Crown Bakery, Fairway Beef, Webster House, Chopsticks, Moynihan's Pub, Tammany Hall, Maurice the Pants Man, Sir Morgan's Cove, Maxwell-Silverman's Toolhouse, Plum's, Meola's Diary Milk,... It is sad when local businesses that were were unique to an area close and are no more. These closures are not just business related as they are a loss of local character and identity. Mac's Diner, Barnard's, Easton's (where I found out that JFK was killed, on my 17th birthday, no less), Toupin's, The Flamingo, Nick's, The Comic Strip, Highland House, Lederman's, and on and on. Don’t forget: A nationally-respected and D1-competitive HC MBB program.
