One of my favorite songs by the Association goes " . . . . . everyone knows it's Wind-Eve."

Boston U”s top runner in the big meet at Lehigh ran about a minute faster than her last month. In that same meet Army’s top runner was 45 seconds faster. And Navy has a runner who is as fast as the Army runner. Additionally Boston’s number two runner and Army’s number two runner also had faster times. BTW, if she were to win it, that would be the first championship ever for HC, men or women.

Bison is correct, of course, that Eve will be an underdog. She was sixth last year, 38 seconds behind the winner. Here are those results results.leonetiming.com/XC.html?mid=4677They run the races for a reason. Maybe she is coming on and the others peaked too soon. We will know tomorrow

Eve finishes 4th, 26.6 secs out of first, won by Navy's Boutin, followed by BU's Liljegren & Army's Richmen. Team finishes 7th.

Seasons ended yday at the Eastern Championships in the Bronx against the best D.1 programs with schollies - men finished 35 (of 37) and the women finished 30th ((of 37) - Eve had a very respectable 35th place finish
