The end of the Rider/PC game was similar to the end of the Celts game the night before.
In both cases, the guy w/the ball had to score to win (or in the Celts case, tie) and got the rug pulled out from under him. No contact or near contact in either case.
The PC transfer from Kentucky, Hopkins, was impressive.

URI will struggle quite a bit this season and probably finish below .500 for the third consecutive year. New Coach Archie Miller had to deal with massive turnover and some of his recruits/transfers are not playing due to injury and academic reasons. Miller however will most likely right the ship. I expect to see an uptick next season with things starting to really gel in Year 3. URI made a big financial commitment in hiring Miller. In addition to his large salary, it greatly increased its assistant salary pool and operational budget. In addition, the construction of a dedicated basketball only practice facility started this past summer. It is being carved out of existing space in the Tootell Athletics building which is attached to the Ryan Center. The $8M cost for it has already been raised.

Miller had a tough go at Indiana, but is a good coach, and not a cheat as is his brother, hired by a Jesuit school.
