42-42 at the half. Both teams shooting at a high level inside and out. The defense is not bad. Both teams run and work efficient half court offenses, Their size inside as well as their multiple 3 point shooters will present problems for us. Both are also deep in front and backcourt

We must keep it a half court game
Both teams are more talented and athletic, but beatable

Keegan Records is one of those rare kids that keeps improving every year. Tim Clifford was like that.

Colgate makes up a 6 point deficit at the end to win by 77-75. Both teams played very well, except for few mid game turnovers.

Keegan Records is one of those rare kids that keeps improving every year. Tim Clifford was like that. And any College that wanted Records probably could’ve had him. He did not receive any college offers until the latter part of his senior year in high school.

Here is a strange one. After being the high scorer for the season and coming off a 24 pt effort in their OT win over Bucknell on Sunday, it appears as though Junior forward Leo O'Boyle of Lafayette has entered the Transfer Portal. I see nothing on his Twitter page: twitter.com/oboyle24

I see nothing on his Twitter page: twitter.com/oboyle24he is a senior, and Lafayette does not allow fifth ear pliers. I’m sure it’s for next year to utilize his Covid year.

I’m looking for coach Foley - well, tonight yr favorite backup center Donovan Clingan who you’re not impressed with had 20 pts on 8 of 11 shooting and 10 rebs in UConn’s 82-76 loss at Marquette - I think he belongs in the BE

Army thoroughly outplayed AU most of the night in winning 72-60 at West Point. Ethan Roberts with a game-high 20 for the Black Knights, who passed us into second place. For the life of me, I don't know why we didn't foul Charlie Peterson, Army's center, who shoots 64 percent from the floor –but just 51 percent from the line – every time he caught the ball deep in the post. Tonight he was 8 of 9 from the floor en route to 19 points.

Fouling a 51% ft shooter may sound like a good idea for one or two possessions, but as a consistent strategy, it is counterproductive. It tends to put the opponent into the 1 and 1, then the double bonus, more quickly, thus giving other, better free throw shooters the greater chance to expand their lead.

Navy has really dug themselves an early hole - if I've not mistaken, they've already lost 3 home games.

Can we talk about just how badly Nate Davis has ruined Bucknell basketball?
Began last year 0-7 in the PL. 0-5 this year.
Why did Truax bring him back?

Maybe because he is better than the football coach? At the risk of stating the obvious, Bucknell and HC both being awful at the same time, really drags the league down. Sagarin has the league at 27 this morning. Not good.

General CBB observation: It’s sad to see the game has essentially fully transformed into garbage minor league NBA basketball.
The combination of imitating the awful NBA isolation & chuck 3’s product, bad habits in AAU, 1-and-done, and now the transfer portal have killed what used to be a unique, fun, interesting college product.
I flipped on Arkansas-Alabama last night, which should have been a fun game between two top teams with very good coaches, but the product was awful. These rosters are a constant revolving door and make it impossible for coaches to properly develop players, and for casual fans to have a clue who is playing for what team and follow careers.
Sad.

Why did Truax bring him back? i’m hoping it was just money, as he may have had two years left on his contract. If Truax by the end of last year couldn’t see that ND was incompetent, then it’s a much worse situation. Hopefully he is fired on the day the season ends. But it will take years for a coach to dig out of the hole left by and Dave. You can appreciate that. Football is a different issue right now, with Bucknell not allowing fifth year players while schools like HC have over a dozen of them. Almost an impossible task. But at least they are now significantly upgrading facilities, which should help over the next few years.

I just know that we can't foul consistently unless we start using Kirkwood, Wilber or the walkons to execute the foul and come right out. Not enough bodies; in fact, having Kirkwood waste 2 or 3 fouls may not be smart either.
