More importantly, who cares? I’m interested. OK, that makes one.

at least two, as i'm also interested. a head-to-head matchup of d1 coaching prospects from academics-oriented d3 schools is as interesting as nearly anything else that could be discussed pertaining to our basketball program right now.

Reach for the antacids…as was quoted in the broadcast.
Lehigh has not updated the correct Holy Cross logo in Stabler behind the basket. The banner must be at least ten years old. Our losses their should be disallowed as our players were distracted and disrespected.🤔😂

Well, did you watch their game with LU? I watched most of it and both teams were bad but BU was worse... No. It is difficult enough to watch HC’s PL games. Sorry, my point was not to question your judgment, but to say that if BU was awful, if we lose to them, that would make us worse than awful.

No problem... just did not know what you meant by "careful"... thanks for the explanation... without doubt this is the worst BU team I have seen in many years, in fact I can't think of a worse BU team.... and as far as Wednesday's game is concerned whichever team wins and by how much won't move the needle much at all... in all honesty the whole league is down this year...

One astonishing thing is the Boston U is one of the most experienced teams in the country. Their starting five has 24 collective years of D1 experience, 25 if you count the year Walter Whyte sat out.

I believe there are cases when a coach achieves reverse synergy where the sum is less than the individual talents. It happens.

137, have Bucknell quit, is the team refusing to play hard for Davis, is he just that bad of a coach — all of the above?
I watched a bit of the Bucknell game on Saturday and seems like they were going through the motions.
Does Davis have another year left on his contract? If so, would Braveman eat the year?

I watched a bit of the Bucknell game on Saturday and seems like they were going through the motions. Does Davis have another year left on his contract? If so, would Braveman eat the year? 1. Some games they look like they’ve quit, and there are others where they seem to play fairly hard. But Davis is such a bad coach, they definitely don’t play nearly as well as they would with a competent coach. Based purely on the talent level, there is no reason they shouldn’t be challenging for .500 in the PL. 2. I have never been able to determine what happened with Davis’ contract extension. I suspect he has one more year, but that is just a guess. In any event, it’s hard to believe that Bravman won’t allow him to be terminated because he has destroyed the program and most fans/alumni are very unhappy about it. Bravman, however, tell Truax to raise the buyout money from alums, but if Truax is competent he should be able to do that. I know John Hardt would’ve had no trouble in an emergency like this. In addition to his other failings, Davis has alienated virtually all of the fans and cost them huge amounts of money as season-ticket holders have left in droves because of him.

Thinking out loud -- Tavaras Hardy hot seat? Well on his way to fifth straight season of being below .500 overall and in the PL. Not going to pretend Loyola is an easy job, but also don't think it's one of the more difficult ones. In a fertile recruiting area and should be much better than they are. The last time they were above .500 was with Jimmy Patsos (MAAC). Holy Cross is in a more fertile recruiting area (look at the top level prep schools in the area and should be much better than they are....

Although it doesn’t have as many prep schools as New England, it does have some good ones and it has much much better public schools and Catholic schools. There are tons of very good college players who came from that area.

Bison beat me to it regarding BU. I know they lost their 2 studs, but they had a lot of other guys coming back. I saw them a couple of times in the non conference and they looked pretty decent. I guess they've had a couple of guys out (join the club). Now watch, Whyte will go for 30 Wednesday night.
At this point I hope Colgate and Lehigh win as many games as possible, to help HC stay afloat in their bid to avoid the 7-10 round.

The Baltimore and DC Catholic leagues are amongst the best HS (non-prep) leagues in the country, if not the best.

AU was horrendous defensively tonight, against a bad Bucknell team. Just horrendous. Laid on screens all night and gave up at least a dozen wide open shots and drives. We played exactly four minutes of D – the last four – and cut an 18-point deficit to five. Too late. We deserved to lose.
