If BU loses in the PLT, they get an auto bid to the WNIT. If BU goes to the WNIT and it's not HC who wins the PLT, the Crusaders go home. If BU wins the PLT does the PL still get a WNIT auto bid?

No, Iam afraidnot. That is only to regular season champions who losein their league tournament. Of course, HC might simply get an invite based on their record, but that would not be automatic.

Pretty sure the WNIT invites the best team from every conference not going to the NCAA. So, we should get an autobid if we don’t win the PL.

Every league gets a bid to the women’s NIT. As you say, it is the best team that doesn’t make the big dance.

I presume the PL and other leagues have a fixed factual definition of who the best team not dancing is, complete with tie-breakers. I hope.

The NIT simply takes the highest seeded team that didn’t make the NCAA tournament.

No, The PL does not establish any criteria for this. The NIT simply takes the highest seeded team that didn’t make the NCAA tournament. That is a good way to do it. Tournament seeding has already been established by league protocol including tie-breakers.

So, to be clear, Holy Cross goes to the NCAAs while BU gets that WNIT bid?

Love to see BU get upset after we softened them up. But, then we'd have to win it all as the NIT auto bid would reside on Commonwealth Ave.

Loyola hanging tough, BU 27-26 at the half, Lehigh 25-21 over Bucknell at the half Why isn't Weimar playing for BU? If memory serves, she hurt her ankle in the first half of our game. She did continue to play but perhaps they are holding her
