Bucknell has decided to do in basketball what Holy Cross is doing in football. They are strengthening their program with top flight players. They may have problems with football but basketball is impressive. It can be done with the right coach and 12 talented players.

I think some Bucknell supporters dislike the coach, feeling he has done a poor job

The "Fire Nathan Davis" thread on the Bucknell board is fourteen pages long. and it would be much longer except that a lot of people have just given up. He has done a terrible job and his last few recruiting classes are not good enough to be a Patriot League contender. |

he inherited the best group of players anyone ever did in the patriot league. i remember hearing how great davis was ad nauseum from our resident coaching expert, but a former bucknell player i knew spoke very poorly of him at the time and the piss poor results have demonstrated just how inept he is. with the exception of langel, the caliber of coaching in the pl today may be the worst it has ever been. |
