Gain experience against power conference teams (BC, Marquette) then run the table against the rest of the all New England (except Marquette) OOC schedule.
Never thought I'd be using the phrase "run the table" regarding HC sports as much as I am this year. š

The 1-3 Big Green are 10-6 all time against HC. The lost to UNH and beat Merrimack, two teams HC have beat. But the game is in Hanover after a Thanksgiving break so the Saders can't let up. Hoping to "run the table" for the rest of the OOC slate.

Women up 18-14 over Dartmouth end of first quarter. Dartmouth comes out with 4 straight to tie it at 18 all.

This is a great OOC schedule to build Berger, Donnelly and others self confidence to hit the PL in stride.

BPC only played 6 minutes in the first half, Allen 8. Not sure why (foul trouble?).

Huber, Munt, Donnelly and Wright are all getting good opportunities which may explain it. Allen and BPC are two of the most experienced players coming into the season.

Page, Koch and Curtis have 3 pf each for Dartmouth. HC playing well with a 9-2 run and leads 42-37 about half way through the third period.

Edit: the color analyst said it was the early two fouls on BPC and Allen, not the desire to give reserves playing time. We seem to stay within a point of Dartmouth with or without Allen and BPC. Let's go!

Thanks to the Dartmouth class of 1960 for donating the scoreboard. In 1960.š
The Dartmouth gym is the opposite of Fairfield's new palace. Somehow I doubt Dartmouth will lose any recruiting battles with Faurfield because of facilities.
I'm OK with not replacing perfectly fine basketball venues that aren't broken and aren't undersized for current attendance demand. I don't get the gym envy some fans have.

BPC has scored on that hook shot with both the left and right hand this game.

Donnelly is almost as sturdy as š Oluchi Ezemma but an inch taller and quick and sure dribbling the length of the floor. Great pick up coaching staff.

Leeds is 30 years old and is a palace compared to Memorial Gym, which they could have filmed Hoosiers in. Would have been a tough place to play in if Dartmouth had ballplayers, which they usually don't.

Iām curious how the coach will keep Janelle involved down low in the post on offense - she has shot 1 of 8 for 4 pts total over the last two games - Lindsay is playing so well at the center position in places where Janelle thrived last season - can they play together effectively?

I thought of the same issue. Janelle played with Oluchi Ezemma although I can't remember exactly how they positioned themselves on offense. There must be a spacing solution. Having the other player to dump off to once the defense collapses on the first player should be able to be practiced and perfected.

They often played their best with either Ezemma or Allen at the 5 & BPC at the 4 last year. BPC struggled on offense a bit due to that. Today (I just watched the game) tried to force it low to JA & she got some good looks but seems to be unable to finish. It is a conundrum. Not sure what options MM has at the moment.

I watched the replay of the game today - at least in this game it really was a struggle for Allen (as both ends) - I am sure the coaches are working hard on keeping her positive while her role gets tweaked a bit. I was really impressed with frosh Donnelly - great instincts and can handle the ball very well for a forward to say nothing of her shooting ability. The other stars were the usual BPC, Berger and Flanagan
