Massey makes HC a 3 point favorite against Brown (62-59) with a 56% chance for the win.

If I didn't already have paid tickets to the men's game against Harvard, I'd probably go to this game. A better chance for a win and a lot closer than the Hart Center for me.

Holy Cross Athletics loves to pit the MBB and WBB teams against each other or overlapping each other's games on the schedule. What's up with that? Do they think there are two separate fan bases?

I loved when the played a double header and I could make both games. Of course WBB played on the road today but the MBB home game could have used something to generate interest. It's a shame to pay all the snack bar, scorers table, and security/ticket people for 153 (plus two infants) actual attendees.

It's probably wishful thinking that they could have many doubleheaders like they used to....but one or two a season would seem to be a possibility. Especially if the men and women aren't playing the same teams.

Especially if the men and women aren't playing the same teams. They should do it against the same team. Like a BU or Colgate MBB/WBB doubleheader. Maybe they get some visiting fans.

Oh, yes! A DH vs. BU when the Turnpike Trophy is on the line. That will pack them into the Hart!

Brown is playing very well and have won 5 straight (5-2 overall) - they have a scorer averaging 19 pts/game

The Brown head coach is Monique LeBlanc, Bucknell '02 who coached Merrimack to a 20-9 record during their first year in D-1 before starting at Brown.
She started at Brown for the 2020-21 season the same time as Maureen Magarity started at HC except Brown cancelled it's entire 20-21 season.
Both head coaches are around the same age with around the same number of years as a head coach at low majors a short ways from each other at both stops. They both moved about 90 minutes south.
So it's not surprising 5-2 Brown vs 4-2 HC should be a good game.

I would guess there are maybe 50 fans who have been to more than one women’s game and more than one men’s game in the last 4 years. All of them are posters here.

Could be a really short bench for HC tonight, Cross out due to "illness"

Addy Cross out with illness. Donnelly replaces her. Allen dilemma solved in early play as she gets the ball, defense collapses on her and she feeds Berger underneath.

HC 12-4 4 mins to go, after the opening with good offense, has turned into a defensive game, neither team can make a basket

HC decides to turn into a turnover machine the last 2 mins of the qtr, lead 13-9 despite 8 t/os. Fortunately, have dominated the boards 15-7

Allen and Berger can play pitch and catch underneath with that bounce pass all season long as far as I'm concerned.

Berger w/ 10, Donnelly just gets better & better 8 rebs, once her offense catches up to her defense she looks like she will be really really good.
