Be good if that backup is healthy this weekend both for his own sake and because we could use another bruiser to rotate through in what will be a physical game.

Nice honor for Jordan. He will have a tremendous season next year when he becomes the featured back. Think about this-he averaged 4.8 yards per carry when probably 20% of his attempts came inside the 4 yard line where he could not break a long carry.

I feel pretty good about our RB position next year, even after Peter Oliver moves on. Fuller, Forrest, Purdy, Rivers and Slade will all get a chance to compete this spring, and the freshman RB who has verbally committed will only add to a pretty deep unit.

Do you think Forrest will be back next year? I’m curious if he’ll take the extra bonus year or not.

I assume that the coaching staff is confident that Forrest and Purdy will be back. If not, I would have expected more offers being made to RBs. Of course, anything is possible.

Fuller, Forrest, Purdy, and Slade.
Man, talk about depth, talent, and experience. Love it.
