JTutino ( joe Tutino) Tweeted: Collecting vintage @hcrossfb programs became my pandemic hobby. There’s something really cool about the cover art, the ads and the game stories that give color to the fall Saturdays of yesteryear. With the bye week, I figured I’d post a few, starting with the 1930s and 1940s: Joe posted the collection on twitter

Glad you like them! The ads in many of them are almost as much fun as the football content. Always on the lookout for more!

It was great when colleges and high schools got the program jackets for free (with ads in them) and just had to have the rosters printed for the game. Of course, the colors on the uniforms of the players on the cover often were nothing like those of the two teams in the game!)
