Couldn't have possibly gotten better look for MA at the top of the key...but he airballs the three. That should do it.

All the breaks we got last March are breaking the other way. Easy trade-off, but hopefully things get better come PL play.

With the game on the line, our seniors have not been able to make key plays. Missed rebounds, air ball 3s. MA had a tremendous 2nd half but . . . .

Bob Walsh a big believer in fouling when up three late.

Methinks the last two losses have drained our MOJO. Tough winning on road.

Champion hit a shot from about 65 feet, but was fouled before he put it up. If you look at the replay though, it almost looked like he was in the act while being fouled. Oh well.

Maine is not underrated. They are not that good. We played a horrible first half.

Don't care how long the bus ride was, this was a horrible loss. Don't understand why we came out in the 1-3-1 instead of the match-up after what Maine did to the 1-3-1 last year. Perhaps some who watched can comment.

Maine is not underrated. They are not that good. We played a horrible first half. completely agree. it takes a very bad team to have a competitive game with us the way we played in the first half today and with our best player struggling mightily from the field.

No life, no energy, no leadership, no communication. Part of it on the players, part of it on the coaching staff for the culture in the program. Unacceptable performance, and nobody seemed to care in the last 5 minutes.

Creamed on rebounds 41-24. Points in paint 32 for us 10 for them. Only 9 assists to 17 for them. 3 pointer, they shot over 40%.
The loss was really all the missed in close shots. We still could have won had we not "butterfingered" some rebounds as posted earlier.

AT seemed to have a bit of a limp as he walked the line at the end.
Maine had twice as many assists. Under 20 percent from three-land.

I am so frustrated and disappointed. It must kill the players knowing that they're capable of playing so much better than they've shown so far.

Creamed on rebounds 41-24. We missed 32 shots (30 FGA, 2 FTA) - they rebounded 31 of those misses. I understand the lack of emphasis on o-boards, but against KenPom #338, that's embarrasing

While I hope he gets better, I didn't see any fall off in our game after he was on the bench. But we did lose. High point of the game was RC's 3/4 court shot that didn't count.

Anyone else notice that whenever Maine went to the free throw line at the end of the game, nobody on our team was pulling the other players on the team together? Nobody was even saying a word to each other.
AT catches a lot of negative comments around here, but he is the closest thing to a leader that we have and we need him out there. A backcourt of Benzan and Ziggy is just not going to get it done.

The stats and effective offensive performance or whatever it's called not withstanding it came down to a missed layup by Charles and a missed 3-pointer by Malachi.
We did win the second half nonetheless. We didn't give up. That may help us going forward.
