Mike’s all time best move was the 180 degree dunk against PC. My goodness that almost brought down the Hartford Civic Center roof 10 months earlier than the January 1978 snow storm.
Still waiting to see a current HC player duplicate his move in a critical moment and game.

The PC guy, Bob Misevicius, was a bit ahead of his time, a 6-9 guy (at least, and kind of wide too) who could put the ball on the floor (dribbling by big guys away from the hoop was certainly discouraged in that era).
He was kind of taunting our guys to do something about it (no shot clock then, so he could kill as much time as he wanted to), and Vicens stripped him!

Miscevius of Power Memorial and Potter of lesser Cardinal Spellman played in the same CHSAA Manhattan -Bronx league, different divisions.

I will always remember him playing against Georgetown in the Auditorium, '74-'75 season..Georgetown had a big kid who led them in almost every offensive category...Michael had the ball on the break with the big kid defending the hoop. Mike took off with his right foot extended in front of him and planted said foot between the numbers on the big 's shirt! This was very early in the game, the Georgetown kid would not get close to Michael again..He stood beyond the top of the key when HC had the ball next...Was subbed out and never returned..Michael always gave a hard foul on man he was guarding, NOBODY liked playing against him....

Who's the oldest living person to have earned a NBA championship ring?
Hint: It's not Mr. Basketball...and he's not an obscure person.

Either the Globe or the Worcester Telegram had a spectacular photo of that dunk - with Michael staring-down Misevicius as he was completing the reverse dunk. I’m sure I have that picture somewhere. If I find it, I will post.

It was in the hart center trophy cases 20 years ago.
A newer, cleaned up version should be in the blaney practice court.
