SOV, I hope you are right, but there had been rumors before this loss. AD's have been know to change their tune after such a loss i presume that quote was before the gameGiven the time stamp on the tweet - it was prior to the OSU loss to Rutgers going final.

Perhaps the Holy Cross president, or the BOTs said hire a search firm, I want several opinions on this hire after the past fiascoes. What is the issue here??

HC hired a search firm and the two primary targets were guys who were unemployed after being fired from jobs in major conferences. Did we really need help "finding" them? Who was the other target other than BC? bringbackcaro?

If Buck wins next thurs/fri, he could be a hot commodity; but even more so after next season.

Something to monitor -- UCSB's Bob Williams is out after 20 seasons. The AD at UCSB is John McCutcheon, who was formerly at UMass where he hired Kellogg. May he look to hire Kellogg at UCSB? FWIW, I don't think Kellogg is much of a coach.

UCSB def a possibility, but landing spot for Kellogg is likely where all of Calipari's former players who were fired end up: on the bench as an assistant in Lexington. Kellogg can recruit, but is terrible in-game.

It seems like $75K in cases like this is chicken feed..usually they sue for a hell of a lot more and settle for less...especially if they bring an entity like Umass into it somehow. At one point (perhaps now too), the lady was a hs track coach at Amherst Regional

A-10 update on coaches: My guess is that Jim Ferry at Duquesne might very well be out of a job soon. The Dukes are 10-21 after having lost 13 of their last 14 games. There is also some speculation that Derek Kellogg might be in trouble. The Minutemen (14-17) started off their season ok but things have gone south in league play as they have lost 10 of their last 12. GW will have an interesting choice to make as they must make a decision on interim coach Maurice Joseph who led to the Colonials to an 18-13 record despite difficult circumstances following the late dismissal of Mike Lonergan. I guess I am 2-2 on my predictions. It however did not take a genius to see the handwriting on the wall. The number has nothing to do with what the plaintiff might actually be seeking or receive.
