Watching Villanova SJ and they just did a thing that former Wildcat Chris Ford died. I missed that one.
Starting guard with Celts on Bird's first championship team. Also first NBA player to record a 3 point field goal.

I read that he coached at Brandeis after being head coach of the Celts.

As a player, he used to lecture at Blaney’s HC Camp. Not dynamic, but a down to earth, sincere guy. Campers really liked him.

The Brandeis Judges have employed three former Celtics players as head coaches as well as one, Darren Erman who went from an assistant at St. Anthony's high school to an assistant at Brandeis to an assistant with the Celtics.
In addition to Chris Ford, Bob Brannum held the reigns in Waltham and the third former Celtic shares the name of a famous train engineer. Who is it?

Chris Ford was a great Celtic. Not a great player. Had a role in the early 80s and played it well.
