Didn’t we play this game indoors at Bryant last year when the same cold weather prevented outdoor play

I think the weather on Saturday will dictate the postponement of the lax game @ Providence. I have heard the game might be moved up and they need a NCAA waiver for that to happen. Awaiting on that....

Awaiting on that.... Saturday high temp in Boston is forecast as 12 degrees; wind chill will be brutal. 24 hour shot of cold though, quickly moderates.

Game tentatively rescheduled to Thursday at 6:00. Game should be a good indication of what we have this year.

Coach Reppert held a webinar last night that had about 70 attendees on it. A few highlights:
1) Working through the financial aid issues. Kit is aware of the situation and "working to close the gap." Coach feels better every time he hears PVR speak. Mentioned Magis sholarships. Sounds like a player or two has benefited from these. 2) Close to getting a director of operations hired. Said person would serve both men's and women's programs. 3) On recruiting, "We are attracting top talent." Lots of interest from recruits who will enter in 2024. He spoke well of Admissions. 4) On Fr. K. Field, "Hoping to improve that venue." No details though. 5) Potential is "through the roof" at HC.
Overall, it's hard not to like Coach Reppert and his great enthusiasm.

Each team should have their own position. if you followed lacrosse, you would know that very few mid majors have a Director/manager of operations at all. For example in America East there is not one team that has a paid manager of operations for the men’s team or the women’s team. Those teams would be ecstatic to have a shared Director of operations.

Not as cheap as BC, Furman and UNH that eliminated their Men’s programs for examples.

Being uneducated on the subject, I can come to one of two conclusions: 1. Foley might have written 10+ seasons but either never knew what he was writing about or, he did, but the sport has left him behind because so many years have passed or 2. Bison doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to LAX, or at least LAX college staffing. Oh, 3rd option, "Foley" is just an alias and his "real" name is George Santos. (Come on, that's NOT political!) Based on many of their past posts, I'm putting my money on #1.

Or option 4: I never covered low level lacrosse since it didn't bring in the traffic numbers to cover those teams. The bylines got screwed up pre-2012. www.insidelacrosse.com/author/brian-foley/63

Very impressive, Foles, but really was Bryant not a low level LAX team in 2013 before they got that Duke coach after the scandal?
And, what's this all about?:
Was Sacred Heart higher than "low level?" I mean, we know HC is "low level."

My guess, a deep dislike on his part of most things "Crusader." If HC did it, there must be a reason why it is/was a bad idea.
