What would be the harm in playing the walk-ons these final three minutes?

This is Brett Nelson's equivalent of Tom Gilmore's Yale game. The only question is whether he gets fired tomorrow morning, or in two weeks.

Another losing conference record - last time we had a winning conference record was 9 years ago.

Nelson will have to win the final regular season game and then a game in the PLT in order to reach double digit wins for his first time as head coach.

It's all over in a few weeks. Can't come soon enough.

The crazy thing is, the path to the fifth seed is very feasible.
Beat Army to get to 8-10.
AU loses at Loyola (Loyola likely favored). AU finishes at 7-11.
Lafayette loses at Bucknell (coin flip game). Lafayette finishes at 7-11.
HC holds the tiebreaker against BU, should BU beat Lehigh.

In a game we needed to hope to stay out of the play in game no one showed up And that could be the proverbial nail in coffin on Nelson’s career here.

What was most disappointing to me was that there was zero defensive intensity from the get go (do have to give Loyola some credit too). Very little ball pressure in the half court.
Another thing I'm noticing: for whatever reason (maybe the opposition), GG seems to have lost a lot of that explosive power right at the rim. Kids that he has regularly abused in the past (like Dike and Farve) are now stuffing him more than I can ever remember. Most of his non jump shots are now runners. Not being critical of him, just pointing out that his game doesn't seem to be what it was earlier in the year.

My sense is that it is a result of simply wearing down after guarding guys 5-6 inches taller most games and, in addition, "hearing footsteps" from the number of times his shots have been blocked.
Hope he has a great "Seniors Day". He deserves it.
