Bo and Joe highlight the value of four years of physical maturity, coaching and playing at D-1 speed. Getting that product developed by another school's $300,000 scholarship expense is a great one year investment.
Holy Cross can approximate this if they have a player transfer in with three years of physical maturity and coaching at another school but with two years of eligibility remaining who is happy to take two years of high level academics at HC and receive a quality degree.

I would think that at some point soon, both players and coaches will be motivated to make decisions (for players, where they want to be based on the offers they currently hold, and for coaches, what they want their final rosters to look like). I mean, at some point, it will almost become a giant game of chicken.

Show me the money time for players. My guess is some coaches are searching for money while others are trying to get the transfer for free.

Why is there an NIL signing date? Isn’t that restraint of trade?

Why is there an NIL signing date? Isn’t that restraint of trade? Pretty sure that he meant May 15 is the date for signing a NLI. Of course that deadline is meaningless because players can still commit for many months after, and if they want, they can sign their own contract.

Why is there an NIL signing date? Isn’t that restraint of trade? If a kid hits a buzzer beating trey for the walk off win and it goes viral in the local newspaper online edition, the local steakhouse should be able to call him up and invite him down for a meet and greet and autograph session from 5-6pm for a $100 check and a $100 gift card with no bureaucracy. This is America, man.

TJ Power to Virginia. Hopefully, he can play D at a high level, at least for his sake.

Had the pleasure of watching Pierce play this past season at Jadwin. Solid performer and great leaper, and he seems like a genuinely nice guy. His brother plays for the Colts.

I guess I didn’t get the memo but for how long have college athletes been allowed to have agents? I saw the word agent yesterday in a quote from a portaler and in today’s T&G story about TJ Power transferring to Virginia, he thanked his agent among others.
