Bought two $35 tickets to take my daughter to the Big East Women’s Championship Game Monday night at Mohegan Sun. Ticketmaster added $43.80 in fees on $70 worth of tickets. Amazing.
$3.40 (Order Processing Fee) $9.00 (Facility Charge) x 2 $11.20 (Service Fee) x 2

Biden said he was going to get rid of resort fees.
Maybe this is next?

Amazing. $3.40 (Order Processing Fee) $9.00 (Facility Charge) x 2 $11.20 (Service Fee) x 2 I heard a story on NPR about this topic. NY State has a new law requiring that all of the fees be shown upfront and not on the last screen when you are ready to pay. It doesn’t necessarily mean the cost will go down, but at least it will be a bit more transparent Congress should do the same.

If you bought them at the Mohegan Sun Box office, would you have avoided the Ticketmaster fees?

If you bought them at the Mohegan Sun Box office, would you have avoided the Ticketmaster fees? Yes. Assuming it will be sold out once UConn confirms their spot tomorrow and didn’t want to drive down there just to get tickets. Tickets are also crazy expensive in the lower level. Upper level is $35 starting in Row B. These were the last two on the side in Row B or anything close. Plenty of good seats in the lower level if you have a few hundred dollars per ticket to blow.
