UConn beat HC 87-75 at the Hart that season. They had already pulled ahead of us. That's one situation where the PL probably did hold back HC. WBB was like the wild wild west back when resources started being directed to the sport.
There was much opportunity to make a mark in the sport but you can't move too much past your league. Gonzaga MBB might be the exception that proves the rule. They brought the league up with them.

With the game on St. Patrick’s Day, and a trip to the Emerald Isle this summer, HC WBB should debut a new uniform set for the occasion…..Green with a Purple and White trim. Wonder what the reaction will be if done ✅ ☘️.

The pick: Maryland I'm curious, I assume that all the 1-16 & 2-15 games are fairly similar in their projections as only once in the history of the tournament has a 16 or 15 (none) won the game.
