For the hundreds of student athletes HC has every year, and the millions of cameras in society, you don't have many incidents like this with Holy Cross athletes. Congratulations to HC.
Senseless vandalism always turned me off. Some kids seem to think it's funny. It's not.

Hopefully the program (a Catholic school no less) puts this behind them. I am sure Briere will be looking to transfer but I am not sue who would be willing to take a flyer. Juniors maybe? As the son of a former NHLer there must be something there for a team to take a chance on in juniors or something like that.

Reminds me of Chad Kelly. Nephew of Jim Kelly, of K-Gun fame. Kept getting chances as an NFL QB in training camps and kept screwing up behaviorally.

Reminds me of Chad Kelly. Nephew of Jim Kelly, of K-Gun fame. Kept getting chances as an NFL QB in training camps and kept screwing up behaviorally. Fun fact...Kelly was the backup for the Toronto Argonauts last year in the CFL but led the team in a comeback effort in the Grey Cup after the starting QB went down with a hand injury. The stuff he did with Ole Miss and that Hugh Freeze offense was nothing short of magical--beating Bama, Auburn, and LSU in the same season and lighting up the Sugar Bowl. I was in my last year working in Virginia for the Ole Miss 2015 season. One of my best friends from high school is an Ole Miss alum so I went down to Oxford for a good time at the Grove and to see them beat A&M. Quite a memorable experience. I believe he had two major issues. One was when he was with Clemson he was arrested for resisting arrest and was sentenced to community service and the second was a drunken trespassing charge when he was either with the Broncos or Colts. Forget which. I believe he stayed out of trouble at Ole Miss. The biggest set back for him was the ACL injury his senior year at Ole Miss and another injury when he was just starting his time in the NFL.

I remember the incident with the Broncos when he walked into the wrong home and didn't seem to have his wits about him and then some kind of kerfuffle when he was back in the Buffalo area. Great to hear his success in the CFL. That route worked for another Buffalo QB, Doug Flutie.
