Probably not. I cannot wait for her retirement. I was hoping when Fr B came in, he would usher her out. She's been at HC way too long.

Let's not forget that HC kicker A.J. Wells transferred to Holy Cross after spending his freshman year at another institution.
Still, it is true that HC does not take many transfers.

I remember when HC played Yale in 2000, I believe both the starting QB and RB were transfers from Big Ten schools, with one from Northwestern, IIRC.
I also recall how big of a deal it was when Josh Sankes transferred from Rutgers to HC. The big story was what he'd endured at his previous stop, but beyond that I'd also heard several rumblings of all the hoops that had to be jumped through (pun heavily intended) with admissions to get him in. The feeling was that despite the move to athletic scholarships, the school didn't want to become a safe haven for transfer athletes.
I think we can all agree that Sankes has been an excellent rep for HC both during and after his time in Worcester.
If you bring in the right people, either as freshmen or transfers, does it really matter? I say no, but I suppose maybe some in the administration disagree.

wasn't there a transfer of a Notre Dame walk on recently... I believe that non athlete transfers are on space available basis with no guarantee of financial aid... not sure how that works with athletes that might be identified by a coach

Just another short-sighted policy that the admissions department burdens on athletics.

Just another short-sighted policy that the admissions department burdens on athletics. What policy? We can and do take transfers for FB.

Sammy Siaki (Sp?) and the two kids from Grambling, Thompson and Stewart. Any since then besides the ND guy.
