Dear Hoya Fans,
I am writing to share some exciting news about our Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) programming, and to express my gratitude for your continued support.
First and foremost, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for championing our more than 800 student-athletes in every aspect of their collegiate journey. Your support has been invaluable, and we are incredibly grateful.
In recent years, the landscape of intercollegiate athletics has undergone significant changes, including the introduction of the ability for our student-athletes to benefit from their name, image and likeness (NIL). We fully support their right to profit from these opportunities, and we extend our appreciation to those who have already contributed to their endeavors.
Yesterday, we shared news of the launch of Hoyas Rising a collaborative that directly supports our Georgetown student-athletes. We wholeheartedly welcome this effort and encourage you to take a moment to review the available opportunities for you, your business, or anyone within the Georgetown community you can inspire to participate. Hoyas Rising has an agreement with Georgetown University for exclusive group licensing rights, enabling a comprehensive approach for donors and members of the corporate community to engage with Georgetown student-athletes.
Our commitment remains unwavering in recruiting top student-athletes to Georgetown University and fostering their development as champions both in competition and in the classroom. To ensure our student-athletes are well-informed, we have provided ongoing education on NIL, including an NIL Summit presented by Invesco QQQ in January. You can read more about NIL opportunities for Georgetown Student Athletes at the Hoya Blueprint Exchange website.
While NCAA rules prohibit Georgetown Athletics and its employees from representing student-athletes or negotiating NIL deals on their behalf, groups of individuals outside of the University can collaborate to provide NIL opportunities and marketplaces. If you are interested in supporting this endeavor please go to the Hoyas Rising website.

I encourage you to explore ways in which you can further empower the success of our student-athletes and seize the chance to be a part of their journey.
Sincerely,
Lee Reed
