Well put, Tom. PS: I agree with the earlier posts that said the SHU announcers were awful (or could have improved to "awful' with a bit more practice). My wife commented on how bad they were! She was amazed at some of the dumb comments that were said..and I had to agree!! At one point the play by play guy asked the color guy if listing Malachi at 6-7, 210 was generous, and he agreed. A couple minutes later the color guy says "Alexander could be 6-8 or so". Too funny.

I heard that - and how he said "If you want to stop this guy (Malachi) just run one man after another into his face." That sounds like an interesting defensive system (especially with so many players already in foul trouble).
Also, each spoke of "bounce passes" by Holy Cross...when the screen showed the ball flying over the defenders' heads. I wondered if they knew what a bounce pass actually was.

Just got home. I'll take any win we can get at that God-forsaken place. The boys did a good job bringing the noise in Dave's absence. Malachi was obviously huge. Foul trouble definitely hurt us but happy to get a W. I just KNEW you and the boys were there - a couple of Sacred Heart free throws gave it away. You guys all did a great job supporting the guys; as Tom alluded to, it also probably took some steam out of the home team, The boys were bummed you weren't there but did their best to carry the torch. They have school tomorrow but might bring one or two depending on what they're actually doing at school.

They were discussing career highs and Smith said he scored 36 against StJohns
