His school’s nickname The Wyverns ( not a typo) Wy·vern ˈwī-vərn. : a mythical animal usually two-legged and resembling a dragon.

Can Wyverns rebound well? I am sure he could "fill-up" the lane.

You might remember Jared Jordan, also a KO Wyvern, who played at Marist and was an assist machine. He was drafted but didn’t stick in the NBA.

Not the one who played for the UNC, or the one that coached Lafayette last season, or the former CEO of Pepsi. As with Jared, I am planning on attending a number of KO games this season to see Chuck Hare in his senior season.

Tyler is the third player from Bullis that I can recall to attend HC recently. Anthony Thompson and Lincoln Yeutter are the others that I remember. Hope the pipeline will now be restored.

If you watched the video above all the way to the end, the next screen that shows up has the HC/G'Town highlights on it! Just click on the photo to get to the link. And as a sidelight, the 4 panel box has link to a piano livestream. The pianist is Brendan Kavanaugh, AKA Dr K. He is a regular livestreamer on Face, plays mostly "boogie woogie" on public piano's in train stations in London....Worth a listen to....I catch him many mornings...

3 of the 4 signed players are 3 star level The other is a season away
We haven't had recruits at this rating level for a very long time, and this group is very complementary

An experienced 4 or 5 looking for a new home in the Spring would be very nice. I think we have enough guards and small forwards.

Let’s add Charlie(Chuck) Hare. I just watched a good deal of one of KO’s last games last season. Unless he made a huge jump over the summer, I’d say Hare is very much a project. The thing I noticed is he has enormous feet which probably limit his foot speed. I really don’t see they athleticism touted in the signing blurb. But he is 6’10” and you can’t teach height.

I live a few miles from KO. It's a fine school, but I'm not aware of it as a high-powered athletic school. Hopefully Chuck can be coached up. Having a decent big guy is so important. Imagine having Jehyve on this current team.

We’ll be knocking on the portal door in Mar/Apr looking for a big IMO

How's Sean Logan doing at Davidson? 20 mpg ( up from 4 as a freshman) 5 ppg 6 rpg from I watched some of Davidson vs Clemson in the Ashville Tourney. Logan looked like a pretty solid player and is bigger physically than I thought he would be. Another kid we recruited from that class, Rory Stewart of URI, might be worth keeping an eye on. He is a 6'8" 230 lb forward from Canada who hasn't been seeing much playing time. IIRC, he is supposed to be an excellent shooter. I check the URI message board from time to time, (Keaney Blue), and I think some posters there question his athleticism for the A 10 level of play.

We’ll be knocking on the portal door in Mar/Apr looking for a big IMO Possibly. As Coach Paulsen is trying to sell the whole HC experience he has said he will not be going crazy with the portal, but won't rule it out if the right fit comes along. I think we have four incoming freshman and five graduating seniors. By my math there is still an open scholarship for next year, although there could be value in holding it for balancing classes

A quality 6-9 kid with 2 years of eligibility would be a nice way to start with the class balancing; would make for a 3 man junior class.

This quote from DP is encouraging. Paulsen on Hare: "Chuck is something of a later bloomer. I've never seen a player make bigger strides from the end of his junior season to the beginning of his senior year.
