Think that move could have accounted for the difference in the final score?

Lehigh about to beat Merrimack everyone. Watch out for the Mountain Hawks. But...Yale first 1-0 on each Saturday Strange day for Merrimack. They had to move that game off campus due to a power outage and played not far from us at Harvard Stadium. There are still many thousands without power on Sunday AM in Andover and North Andover. Substations were knocked out. I could see how that might affect a team that was staying on campus on Friday night. Attendance listed as 1562. Even the start in Cambridge was delayed by thunderstorms; didn't kickoff until 6:14 PM. 19 total punts in the game.

PL had a decent showing this week. Really good. I, on the other hand, plopped a you-know-what into the punch bowl.

Merrimack still in the race for the NEC auto bid, but 0-2 at Harvard Stadium the past two seasons.

Last year MC was the second best team in a historically bad NEC. I'm at an average of five NEC games a year. The best three teams in the NEC are usually Duquesne, SHU, and CCSU. Last year they were a combined 11-22, 8-13 in conference. The third place team was LIU, which is usually a bottom feeder. In a typical year SFU and MC would be middle of the pack. MC played well against us for a half but let's not confuse them with a good FCS team.

SHU seems to have fallen off a cliff. 2 years ago they may have been the best team in Connecticut. Also, Bryant was/is a program on the up and they recently left. Haven't heard any more talk about New Haven joining. They'd likely contend right away in football, assuming they've recovered from losing Degenhardt at QB.

Connor's 47 TDs to nine interceptions over two years will be hard to replace. I wonder what two year masters degree he will be getting. After six years at QB he should be a candidate for an assistant coach in D-3/2 without having to go through a graduate assistant tenure.

PL and HC OOC Scores for Week 2Lehigh over Merrimack (14-12) Fordham over Buffalo (40-37) BC over HC (31-28) GU over SHU (27-10) Bucknell over VMI (21-13) Duke over Lafayette (42-7) Army over Delaware State (57-0) Nova over Colgate (42-19) Those are some shocking results! Lehigh, Fordham, GU and Bucknell really surprise me.
