GAME NOTES
Alston went 10-of-16 from the field and 4-of-5 at the line for 24 points, six more than his previous high, and is now the fifth active Terrier to reach 20 points.
Foreman's 10 assists were the most by a Terrier since junior Eric Johnson had 10 against Kean last December and were the most against a Division I opponent since Maurice Watson Jr. had 12 against Illinois in the opening round of the 2014 National Invitation Tournament.
Scanlon reached double figures for the third time this year and scored all 13 of his points in the second half.
Now 3-2 all-time against UML, BU fell to 0-6 on the road this year and had its seven-game win streak against the America East snapped.
Despite committing five more turnovers (18-13) and trailing in steals by a wide margin (12-2), UML still outscored BU in points off turnovers, 17-12, by contesting several Terrier fastbreak layup attempts that continuously received unlucky bounces around the rim.
UML entered the game with a negative 4.7 rebounding margin but won the battle at the boards, 43-39, and outscored the Terriers (+2.5) in second-chance points, 19-8.
