Everyone played tonight but Munt. Hope she is not injuried, she looked pretty good in the previous 2 games. Just went back & noticed she is in a boot, looked like she was moving ok, hope it nothing serious. Need to have some depth on this team.

Stonehill did not get the memo that they're a D1 team now. Starters 6/41.

Stonehill did not get the memo that they're a D1 team now. Starters 6/41. Yep. What the heck is going on over there? It's not easy to shoot 21% for the game. Good post Turkey game to get into a winning flow though, and get that MM #200 win out of the way.

Stonehill did not get the memo that they're a D1 team now. Starters 6/41. The starters last year in their game against PC went 12-47. A little bit better. The common problem is that I had to sit through both of them.

Final HC 59-32. Not pretty Outside the top ten in NCAA Women's Basketball, it is always bad basketball

Final HC 59-32. Not pretty Outside the top ten in NCAA Women's Basketball, it is always bad basketball Ok that is a joke of a statement. You just demolished any women's basketball that is not top ten division 1. You just don't understand sports.

Just add that to his list of items not understood.

I thought our team was going to push the pace and create more scoring chances this season. I did not watch the game but to manage only 59 pts against a winless team is a sign we might not improve the offensive numbers this year.

You just don't understand sports. It is terrible basketball. How much have you seen this year in person? There are so many missed layups and shots inside of five feet. I have seen eight D-1 women's teams this year and all those things have been true from Big East squads to NEC teams. The product isn't good.

I did not watch the game but to manage only 59 pts against a winless team is a sign we might not improve the offensive numbers this year. They shot 40.3 percent last night and turned the ball over 15 times. Stonehill turned it over 19 times and shot 21.4 percent. Not a good watch for anyone.

I enjoyed the game. Welcome to D-1 Skyhawks. Stonehill will save various Holy Cross sports time, miles and expense over the upcoming years. Especially the non-revenue sports. Campus locations are great for weekday tilts vs each other.

LS, You have a very low bar when it comes to HC athletics - yes, maybe our lousy minor sports can play Stonehill (and maybe lose in a few years) but please don't suggest our M&W Bball and Hockey teams should play them regularly. Sounds like you enjoyed last evening's sleepwalk to a win over (possibly) the worst D.1 team in the country. You seem obsessed with saving a few $ on Bus rides. We should be bussing to Harvard, UMass or Providence on a weekday night (and not effect your budget)

It takes two (schools) to tango. So scheduled games against desired opponents on desired dates can't just be ordered like a pizza. Hopefully new D-1 arrivals like Stonehill and Merrimack can push Connecticut College, Colby-Sawyer, The Elms and (shudder) UMass Boston and Williams and other D-3 schools off the M&W BB schedules. Chances of playing Stonehill in football anytime soon are slim.

There are many NE D-2 and D-3 schools that would give HC a better game than Stonehill did last night. Assumption is one.

Correct - and you can say the same thing about many of our minor sports that are D.1 in name only

That's why I welcome Stonehill and Merrimack. Their philosophy features many participatory varsity sports like HC's does and on a low budget like HC's budgets for minor sports.
