Oh how the mighty have fallen--in last place among two week players......
Lafayette-- Army is favored but I am going with Lafayette. Leopards took only 13 three point attempts in latest and won--very interesting. I don't know if that was forced by the defense or whether it was a plan, but in any case Lafayette managed to play a different type of game and won on the road. Today they have home court advantage
Boston U-- BU's defense has looked good in two PL games and I project a win at Navy
Lehigh-- better team and at home
Holy Cross-- okay, we'll go with The Cross in what looks like a coin flip game
Bucknell-- Bison are 7-0 against teams in bottom half of D-1 and AU is #315

I believe that the instant replay does not apply to traveling calls The travel rule has never been one step, even 60 years ago. As you take the final dribble you are allowed 3 steps, counting the first step as the dribble is taken, if the shot is taken off one foot. The Kansas travel would have been called in most NBA games one of the steps was a chopped/skip type step, not the Euro type, that looks bad... should have been called

I have heard several definitions, but can someone tell me exactly what a "Euro-step" consists of? Any help is appreciated.

I have heard several definitions, but can someone tell me exactly what a "Euro-step" consists of? Any help is appreciated. It's when an offensive player takes a step in one direction, and then takes a another step in a different direction to evade the defender.

Thanks. That makes it clear. In looking back, I realized that two steps were typically taken in a line toward the hoop. Defenders, expecting that, set themselves accordingly. It makes sense that a player would find a way to avoid the charge.

Nobody does the eurostep better than Dwyane Wade or Manu Ginobili.

And as to travelling and the euro step... the actual rule has nothing to do with steps, per se....The rule is that once you establish a pivot foot and lift that pivot foot, you must either pass, attempt a try, or call time out before that pivot foot returns to the floor. In these cases, it always depends upon how the official views when and what pivot foot was established which is when the dribble ended....as always, be kind to the official -- could be the hardest call of the night sometimes, even harder than the block/charge call.

Speaking of traveling, check out how Kansas won their game on a buzzer beater against K-State two nights ago:

Speaking of traveling, check out how Kansas won their game on a buzzer beater against K-State two nights ago: Why hasn't the NCAA been indicted under the RICO statutes?

Looks like Loyola is going to beat Lehigh. .8 seconds and up 1. Loyola comes from behind to win.

Dr Reed is a dreadful coach to be losing with the talent on that team. Kostecka with 15 points 7 rebounds for Loyola. Does anyone know how we lost this kid looks like major blunder, CLS for Kostecka great trade.

But the poster we love to hate always insisted that Kostecka was primarily an academic, rather than an athletic, recruit. Guess n ot.

Did Carmody try to keep him or just thought he could do better and we ended up with the magnificent three.
