As others have noted, HCDC is in a great position to build upon HC’s impressive foundation. There is business to tend to on the Hill and a mission to accomplish. Don’t think his acclimation period will take long. Look forward to Coach evening up his career record against URI in eight short months — box score below from the 2019 tilt. Will be impressed if anybody here was among the 3,091 in attendance… merrimackathletics.com/sports/football/stats/2019/rhode-island/boxscore/6787

Looking forward to the Rhody game. I have never been to a game at URI/Meade shockingly. One of the few FBS/FCS venues I've never been lucky enough to attend in New England. We played there a couple times in the 1970s but we didn't go for whatever reason as kids.
Saw it a couple weeks ago as I attended the Ram-Assumption exhibition (former player playing for the Greyhounds) and it looked good.
Should be a great late Summah affair, hopefully celebrating Coach Curran's debut in Newport post-game.

It's a "home game" for some of us.

It's a "home game" for some of us. Meade and Fitton are about equidistant for me, but Bryant is a quick hop, skip, and a jump for a true home game for Cruskater.

Some of my earliest college football memories were at Meade as I went with my family to at least 3 (I THINK 4) William & Mary games between 1994 and 2001. One of them was in a Nor'Eastah. Stadium was an absolute pit back then. Rotten wood bleachers on visitors side. From pics I've seen its a lot nicah these days. I remembah grabbing dinnah in Newpawt after a couple of those games.

Well looks like we're playing a Kyle McCord led Syracuse team next year.

Well looks like we're playing a Kyle McCord led Syracuse team next year. If Syracuse can somehow come up with all that NIL Cash (and their recruiting whiz head coach can do his magic) maybe McCord will sign there. He is quite a player - with their schedule and McCord, Syracuse should have a good year. Fun Fact: McCord was QB at Philly's St Joe's Prep on a great high school team - wide receivers alone included Marvin Harrison Jr and Sahmir Hagans (Duke).

Looks like he is gonna commit. This might be a long day in the dome for HC next season per the team Brown and Co. are assembling/buying.

McCord’s got one year to earn some serious $yracuse cash and get his NFL draft stock up. Syracuse also landed two transfer receivers from Georgia. Targets for McCord.

Bump. Happy New Year. Looking forward to a great year for Crusader football — Let’s Go! 2024 will be here in the blink of an eye. The below countdown clock is tied to the 8/31 kickoff vs URI. Obviously lots of work for HC given recent developments. Look forward to ALL involved making the very best use of the time to show the best truly is yet to come for HC. Spring Roster Up - notable absences - Freshman WR Elijah Hopkins and OL/DL Caron McNair. Soph QB Mark Forcucci (stated before by 44, hung up the cleats and moved back to Chicago area)
Surprise additions - WR Byron Shipman coming back for a 5th year. Also, JR DT Josh Williams is not on the roster yet but back enrolled at HC and working out with the team

As we know, we largely struggled on the defensive line and getting a pass rush this past season.

I thought he was a contributor as guy to clog up the line, just didn't recall his pass rush creds.

I hope they can move the EBW Classic to Fitton and have the baseball team play a game at Polar in the Spring to bolster the town and gown relationship.

Looks like LB Preston Forney is coming back for his 5th year. Entered the portal but is back with the Leopards. Starting CB Ntantang also coming back for his 5th year among a few others. They will be the pre-season favorite to win the PL. I actually think their Safety Saiku White might be pre-season DPOY over Conway at Fordham.
